Resume: This project aims at generating novel insights into the role of the tripartite social dialogue (social partners and public authorities) on the creation and consolidation of working conditions practices during the COVID crisis. Using both secondary data and primary data from interviews and focus groups, we propose to identify the role of industrial relations in the co-creation of out-of-office work practices and to explore connections with the broader conditions of the extant institutional context across different European regions in France, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain. The primary deliverable of the project is to provide a comprehensive brief on the diffusion of out-of-office employment and a collection of best practices that have improved both workers' well being as well as the quality of industrial relations.
